How do you create a success smartphone app?

Here in Australia the use of mobile devices (including both smartphones and tablets) and the mobile Web is growing fast. But how do you create a successful app that consumers or marketing staff will actually want to use?

To help you design better smartphone apps, Anne Bartlett-Bragg and I are facilitating a one day study group on Tuesday 31st January in Sydney. We will explore currents trends and technologies related to the consumer mobile Web and also enterprise apps for a mobile marketing workforce.
